Actus Legal LLP (UEN T18LL1456F) is a limited liability law partnership, registered in Singapore under the Limited Liability Partnerships Act (Chapter 163A). We are a new firm that has started in 2018 with the helm of our dedicated lawyers, Mr Balakrishnan N and Mr A J Ramachandran.

Mr Balakrishnan was conferred a Bachelor of Law with Honours or LLB (Hons) degree, from the University of London, with which he was admitted as a Barrister-at-Law of Middle Temple, London.
In 1997, he was called to the Singapore Bar and has now practised law for 22 years.
His earlier degree was a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the National University of Singapore. Prior to his legal career, Mr Bala was a teacher for 10 years with the Ministry of Education, Singapore.
Extensive experience and exposure are critical advantages which Mr Bala brings to your case, whether it is a need for transactional work or dispute resolution.
Mr Bala is an approachable and versatile lawyer, who accommodates commercial, arbitration and solicitor’s work with civil, criminal and family law practice.

From 2012 to 2017, he was an associate director in a law corporation which served the banking sector in Singapore. Previous clients included several multinational financial institutions and the law practice was among the top 10 in terms of litigation filing volume.
Blending his abilities as a trial lawyer as well as an educator, Mr Bala trained and supervised a team of 9 to 13 junior lawyers, legal trainees and members of staff in debt recovery work, including the full range of litigation and enforcement activities.
Mr Bala’s clients can expect the same approach of determination, accessibility, information and practical effectiveness.
