Is the listing really free?

Yes, and it stays free. A Basic listing gives you a profile with your firm's details, as many offices and practice areas as you need, and any number of direct inquiries from people who read it. Nothing expires and we do not ask for a card. You pay only if you later want to claim leads, show your phone number and website, or rank above free listings.

How do clients find my firm?

Most of them land on a directory page for one city and one practice area, immigration lawyers in Bangkok or family lawyers in Lisbon, and work down the firms listed there. Your profile appears on the pages that match the services and the places you list. Our legal guides and the Q&A section link to firms too, so answering a question is a second way in. You can browse the directory to see what a client sees.

What is the difference between a direct inquiry and a lead?

A direct inquiry is a message someone sends you after reading your profile. It goes to you alone, on every plan, with no monthly limit. A lead is a request from a client who described a problem without choosing a firm, so we show it to the firms that match and any of them can claim it. Claims are what a paid plan buys: each plan sets how many you get a month, and a free listing gets none.

Can I cancel a paid plan?

Any time, from your dashboard. The plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then stops, and your listing drops back to the free one instead of disappearing. There is no setup fee and no cancellation fee.

How long until my profile is live?

Registering takes a few minutes. The profile starts as a draft and goes live once it has the basics: the firm name, where you work, and what you practise. Verifying your licence is optional and slower, because someone here reads the documents you send.

Which countries do you cover?

Firms from 350+ countries are listed today, and you can register from anywhere. If your city is thin on our directory, your listing is what starts that page rather than a reason to wait.

Do I need to pay to get inquiries?

No. A free listing can receive direct inquiries, and plenty do. Paying changes two things: paid plans rank above free ones on the directory pages, and the higher plans show your phone number, website and messaging apps on the profile instead of a contact form.
