land care taker

My parents gave permission for my grandpa and 1 uncle to be land caretakers for their property since they moved to the USA. Dad went back to Cebu to visit the family. My uncle had him sign a document and my dad did not read it. Grandpa and uncle passed away. Now, there is a rumor that my father signed a paper regarding caregiver that if his uncle passes away it will be passed on to his children. Rumors are that 1 cousin is putting a lawsuit against their parents asking for 2 million pesos for being a land caregiver. Crazy. when he scammed my parents so many times. Will be going to Cebu on Nov 17, 2023, and need consultation on how parents can remove any land caretaker.
