In Romania, can I exit a franchise early if the franchisor misrepresented profits in the disclosure?

Situations like this can, in principle, raise legal remedies, meaning termination/exit routes and potential claims to recover some or all initial fees, especially where sales projections or expected turnover were presented in a way that influenced your decision to sign.

However, in franchise disputes the outcome depends heavily on (i) what the franchise agreement says (disclaimers on projections, non-reliance clauses, integration clauses, limitation of liability, termination grounds, cooling-off/notice periods, penalties etc.) and (ii) the documents showing how the numbers were presented and relied upon in respect to the franchise agreement.
