Arthur Lee, Lin & Co. Advocates formerly known as Arthur Lee & Co. Advocates was set up in November 1989. The firm consists of two (2) Partners namely Mr. Arthur Lee Cheng Chuan and Mdm. Lin Kueh Hong who are full time legal practitioners and three (3) Legal Assistants, Arthur Goh Nyuk Hong, Ian Lee Yi Eng, Sylvester Lai Tze Yang and nine (9) supporting staffs and a few chambering students.

The firm has a equally strong and efficient conveyancing department. The lawyers’ vast experience in litigation matters enable them to be able to give proper and effective legal advice and prepare effective legal documents in conveyancing and a full time partner and legal assistant is on hand to deal with any of your conveyancing queries during and after working hours.
We are able to advise and assist in the preparation and giving advice on agreements, securities loan documents, land transactions, etc and registration of Bank Security and other related documents which we have done for almost all banks, financial and insurance institutions in Malaysia. We have also done work for the Federal Land Commissioners and Borneo Housing Mortgage Finance Berhad, the Federal and State Government loan giving institutions and our Mdm. Lin Kueh Hong have been involved in full time conveyancing for over 15 years.
We have online facilities for stamp duty assessment with the Inland Revenue Board, the Land and Survey Department Kuching and search facilities with the Companies Commission of Malaysia and for bankruptcy searches with the Director General of Insolvency, Malaysia. We are also subscribed to the online facilities for land registry searches in Sarawak (eLASIS).
In addition, we represent several large organizations, principally government owned corporation and financial institutions employers in relation to Labour and Industrial Relations disputes and have experience appearing in the Industrial Court for trial over the last eight (8) years.
The matter that we handle are in relation to claim against our clients as employers/companies relate to Pre-Industrial Court and Industrial Court proceedings.
For this purpose, we have access to the Industrial Law Reports by an online subscription to CLJ Law.
We are particularly active in this area of law and have several decisions of Industrial Court Cases that we handled,reported in the industrial Law reports.
This area of the Law is gaining relative importance and we are also able to assist clients set up a human relations section/department,prepare inquiries for hearing of Domestic Inquiries or prosecute Cases of indiscipline in Domestic Inquiries for corporations,as we have recently done so for statutory Corporations and National Corporations in the insurance industry.

We are able to provide registration & litigation services in respect thereof.
Our firm has an Arbitration and Mediation facility for any intended arbitration and mediation services required, either as arbitration and mediation counsels or an Arbitrator or Mediator. In addition, we are able to represent parties in Adjudication proceedings under the Construction Adjudication Legislation in Malaysia.
