Corporate law represents an essential part of Bredin Prat's activity. Half of the partners devote themselves to it, constituting one of the largest teams in the Paris market. In total, around fifty lawyers assist companies of all sizes, French and international, in their investment, concentration or restructuring strategy.

The skills of this team generally cover mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, privatizations, market transactions or Private Equity.

Corporate governance is another of the areas of expertise of the team, which regularly advises large French companies on matters of governance and the law of listed companies.

Bredin Prat has co-produced the “ Financial Communication Framework and Practices ” guide for several years with the Cliff and PwC France and Maghreb.

Since the firm was founded in 1966, litigation, in all its dimensions, has been at the heart of Bredin Prat's activity.

This practice, which is extremely diverse, obviously covers civil , commercial (including those related to business difficulties ), industrial tribunal and criminal disputes in which the firm intervenes very regularly.

It also extends to the contentious dimensions of a large number of administrative or judicial procedures , in particular those, which are increasingly numerous, relating to appeals against unexpected measures implemented by the administrations ( inquiries and searches by the authorities competition , tax domiciliary visits , investigations and controls by independent administrative authorities or specific State services ) and those relating to sanction procedures initiated before specialized commissions .

In all these matters, Bredin Prat combines three major assets :

• the possibility of enriching its defense strategy, in a given area, by comparison , analogy , complementarity or synergy with other contentious areas also handled internally .
