I am a CPA Lawyer who maintains my own law office in Makati City, Philippines. I handle engagements relating to Tax, Business Registration and Closure, Business Organization and Management (Corporation and Partnership), Family Law, Land Title Registration and Transfer, Estates, and Immigration Laws.
As a Tax Practitioner, I ensure client's tax compliance, prepare tax returns, and assist in tax submissions. I also assist in closing out tax audits and assessments. Further, I handle Due Diligence engagements and Tax Advisory services on topics ranging from simple to complex tax issues.
Undergoing business registration and closure can be a tedious task. I oversee such processes in order to legitimize successfully the registration and closure of business, and to avoid any penalties and possible further tax assessment.
I also accept Business Organization and Management for corporations and partnerships. I assist in the pre-work of setting up a business proceeded by handling corporate/business and legal matters about banking and finance, corporate secretarial tasks, litigations, HR-related matters, intellectual property, and insurance. I also provide legal advice and support to the company and top management on all legal matters. Additionally, I draft, review, and negotiate the terms of various agreements to safeguard the company's interests and ensure that they comply with internal policies and all applicable laws.
In the Philippines, Land Title Registration and Transfer are both tedious processes. As a practitioner, I assist in the preparation and notarization of deeds of conveyance, collation of documentary requirements together, determination of the costs, and follow-up government agencies as the bureaucracy grinds its wheels in a process that takes one to two years or more.
As a Litigator, I handle estate planning and settlement of estates, petitions for nullity of marriage, legal separation, adoption, and other Family Law-related cases.
As an Immigration lawyer, I represent clients in administrative courts, as well as counsel clients about their legal rights and obligations related to immigration and visa processing, among other things. I also advise courses of action based on my knowledge of immigration law.
