Wright Lindsey Jennings offers a wide range of real estate-related legal services, including acquisition and sale of properties; finance; representation of landlords in documentation and negotiation of commercial leases; real estate tax issues confronted by owners of real estate, timberland and land management issues; and litigation involving real estate. We also provide services to owners of residential real estate in a variety of matters.

We regularly represent landowners and governmental bodies in litigation involving real property.  This includes disputes over easements in both Circuit Court and County Court, boundary line issues, nuisance claims, and the enforcement or defense of real estate covenants.

Wright Lindsey Jennings traces our roots to 1900, when one of our founding members was an attorney for the Rock Island Railroad. Now, over a century after we were founded as a one-man law practice, Wright Lindsey Jennings has grown to become one of Arkansas’ leading firms. Much of the firm’s success over that time can be attributed to growth of the firm’s trial practice, which continues to be the firm’s largest practice today. And while our trial attorneys still handle complex cases in the transportation industry, our extensive litigation experience enables us to skillfully protect the interests of our clients in the courtroom on many types of civil litigation, including intellectual property litigation.

In fact, our attorneys have litigated and tried a variety of cases under federal and state law, including cases brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Arkansas Civil Rights Act, the Fair Labor Standard Act, the Arkansas Minimum Wage Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Equal Pay Act and 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981 and 1983.

Several of our attorneys are specially trained and certified as both arbitrators and mediators and regularly serve in those roles. These alternatives to trial and traditional settlement negotiations are used to avoid some of the ever-mounting costs of litigation.

The Honorable James M.
