I would like to see it as it was read when I was still grieving and very sick. He told me I should ask my sister [name removed] but they are very good friends. Am in a corner and she is slowly destroying his legacy.

If you want to see exactly what was read at the probate hearing (or any other formal reading) while you were still grieving and ill, the first step is to request the official court record from the probate registry where the estate is being administered. In most jurisdictions the court keeps a verbatim transcript or at least a written 'order of probate' that includes the wording of the will and any declarations made by the executor; you can obtain a copy by filing a simple 'record-request' form (often available online) and paying the nominal copying fee. If the executor is a family member (e.g., your sister) and you suspect that the document is being altered or withheld, you can also serve a formal demand on the executor asking for the original will and any inventories, and if they refuse you may petition the probate court for an order compelling production of the documents and, if necessary, appoint a neutral administrator. Should you believe the will is being tampered with or that the legacy is being 'destroyed,' you can file an objection to the probate within the statutory deadline (usually 30 days after the grant of probate) and request that the court appoint an independent examiner or even reopen the estate. In parallel, consider speaking with us to help you draft the request, assess any potential misconduct, and protect your rights as an interested party. Sincerely, A-i-c
