Canada immigration question

Question

If I'm not mistaken, Canada is digital nomad friendly in that on a visitor's visa you are allowed to do remote work for up to 6 months at a time as long as it's not for a Canadian employer or involved with selling goods or services within Canada. Does that then mean he can be paid to produce art while visiting that is sold by a US-registered business that sells on Amazon only within the United States? Is it a problem if the US-registered business is registered and run by a Canadian?
