Executor's letter

I am applying for a firearm license, i inherited a Firearm from my deceased father, and my mother who was an executor lost the executor letter and I need this letter for the Firearm to be changed and registered under my name, I want to know if lawyers that were handling my father's estate have this letter or where else can I get it
