Alebel Ashagrie Endalew is a qualified lawyer with more than 11 years extensive experience in the Ethiopian legal sector.
Having served in the office of the Federal Attorney General as a Federal Public Prosecutor for four years, he has demonstrated high level of professionalism and character required for litigation and investigation techniques. He served as a counsel representing the Ethiopian government agencies in international commercial arbitration proceedings and as an Arbitrator and Mediator of the Federal Attorney General Arbitral Tribunal in arbitrations and mediations between federal government institutions.
He also served as an Assistant Judge at the Federal First Instance Court of Ethiopia for more than two years through which he was exposed to deal with very complex business and commercial transaction trials that enables him to widen his understanding to the business environment at large.
He founded Alebel Ashagrie & Associates Law Office and acting as a Principal Attorney. He is specialized in arbitration matters (commercial and treaty-based), investment law, company law, merger & acquisitions, business negotiation, commercial and cross-border litigation, banking and insurance, intellectual property, and international contract/project work.
