On physical abuse

I am a young adult living in Nigeria, and my younger brother has been physically abusive towards me multiple times. He has hit me in the past, and recently, he beat me again. My parents refuse to intervene, and I feel unsafe at home. What legal steps can I take to protect myself? Is there a way to report him without severe consequences for myself?
