Valon has over 15 years of experience in policymaking and implementation, legal drafting, business consulting and legal research. He was a member of Kosovo's Delegation on the negotiations with the EU on the Stabilization and Association Agreement on Intelectual Property Chapter.
For nearly a decade, he led the Kosovo Copyright Office and played a key role in policymaking and drafting primary and secondary legislation related to intellectual property rights (IPR). He also led the Task Force Against Piracy and Counterfeiting and was instrumental in spearheading government initiatives aimed at establishing and bolstering the IPR system in the country.
He is a trainer for Intellectual Property Rights at the Academy of Justice and a trainer for policymaking and better regulation- Regulatory Impact Assessment.
