The memory dates back to the lawyer. Luigi Rossi (Senator of the Kingdom), whose diploma was still headed "Vittorio Emanuele II by the grace of God and will of the nation King of Italy".
The activity of the studio, in via Passerella 26, was certainly already well underway in the early 1890s, as evidenced by the fact that the stamp of the lawyer Luigi Rossi is affixed to the request for registration in the deed of incorporation of the Commercial Bank Italian, dated 10 October 1894, conserved in the Studio archives.
First collaborator, then testamentary heir of Luigi Rossi and his successor in ownership of the studio - moved at the beginning of the new century to via Spiga 1, then, after the Great War, to the ground floor of the historic building in via Bigli 21 - he was the lawyer Camillo Giussani (1879-1960), an eminent figure in the forensic world, but also in Milanese culture (he was a great lover of Latin literature and translator of Lucretius), and for many years President of the Banca Commerciale Italiana, a position he held until his death .
He had been a director of the same bank since the twenty years, despite the attacks that were directed at him for his failure to adhere to the Regime: in an article signed by a "senior" of the Militia, published by "La Tribuna Forense" in 1939 under the title " Purge”, his removal was requested as “he is not an ex-combatant, he is not a member of the Party, he is not a member of the Union”. A street in Milan is named after him.
