Resultados de casos
Acquittal in drug trafficking case before the Provincial Court
Defensa penal
Defence of a client investigated for drug trafficking and membership of a criminal organisation in Valencia. The case involved several months of phone tapping and undercover surveillance.
We challenged the legality of the interceptions and the chain of custody of the seized substances. The Court excluded part of the evidence and found that the remaining material was not enough to prove our client’s involvement beyond reasonable doubt.
The client was acquitted and no criminal record was imposed.
Suspended prison sentence in economic crime case
Defensa penal
Representation of a company director accused of fraud and misappropriation of funds in a business dispute. The prosecution initially requested a significant prison sentence and compensation for alleged losses.
We negotiated a partial agreement, clarified the commercial nature of part of the conflict and obtained a substantial reduction of the charges. The Court imposed a suspended prison sentence with no actual time in custody and a realistic compensation plan.
This allowed the client to avoid imprisonment and continue his professional activity.
Domestic violence case dismissed after preliminary investigation
Defensa penal
Defence of a client investigated for alleged domestic violence following a complaint filed in Valencia. The evidence consisted mainly of contradictory statements and a medical report with minor injuries.
We requested additional witness statements and highlighted inconsistencies in the complainant’s version. After the investigation stage, the Court considered that there was insufficient evidence to proceed to trial and dismissed the case.
The client avoided a public trial and any criminal record.
