what should i do if i commit disobedience or did not follow protocol in my job?

I'm about to resign and committed disobedience coz i tend to set aside approval of documents , coz i always tell my self to get back to it after. I'm overwhelmed by the workload I'm handling and is prone to mistake coz I'm handling multiple companies where in sometimes they request urgent attentions. My intention is just to continue the operation of our manufacturing plant. all materials were utilized by the plant and i didn't steal any or what. What I'm going to do if they threatened to file a case?
