All of my Notes, which contained valuable personal and professional information, suddenly disappeared from my iCloud account. I contacted Apple Support, and during the troubleshooting session (Case No. 102718064523), the technical specialist asked me to open the Notes app through other linked email accounts (such as Outlook), even though I clearly explained that all my notes were stored under the iCloud folder only.
Apple later denied responsibility and claimed that the issue was not related to iCloud, despite my evidence that all data was stored there. I have already escalated the case to Apple’s Legal and Privacy Department, but I would like to understand my legal rights and possible actions under U.S. data privacy and consumer protection laws.
