Bruce Lehrmann has conceded to reimburse Peter FitzSimons, the husband of Lisa Wilkinson, for the costs incurred in complying with a subpoena during Lehrmann's unsuccessful defamation litigation against Network Ten and Wilkinson.

The federal court found that Lehrmann sexually assaulted Brittany Higgins on a minister's couch in Parliament House in 2019, though Lehrmann has persistently denied the accusation. Lehrmann has agreed to pay $4,616 towards FitzSimons' legal fees related to the subpoena.

The matter of Lehrmann covering Network Ten and Wilkinson's legal costs, which could reach up to $10 million, will be heard in court next week. This development comes after a high-profile trial and ongoing legal battles surrounding the allegations against Lehrmann, which have garnered significant public attention and sparked wider discussions about workplace safety and accountability.
