International House Klaipeda

International House Klaipėda is a one stop service center that helps newcomers and returning residents settle in Klaipėda with practical, free guidance on residence permits, employment, social insurance, taxes, and starting a business. Established in May 2023 as a joint initiative of Klaipėda ID, Klaipėda City Municipality, and the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania, the center focuses on delivering clear, step by step support so people can navigate local procedures with confidence.

The team coordinates closely with national and local institutions, including the Migration Department, the Lithuanian Employment Service, SODRA, the State Tax Inspectorate, the National Health Insurance Fund, Innovation Agency Lithuania, Regitra, and Klaipėda Travel. By bringing these partners into a single service environment, International House Klaipėda streamlines document preparation, appointment scheduling, and referrals, and provides service in widely used languages to make the process accessible for a diverse community.

Client service is built around timely consultations, practical checklists, and community events that accelerate integration. Weekly on site sessions with partner agencies help clients resolve issues in one visit, while personalized guidance ensures each person understands the next steps for work, study, or business in the city.
