Jordan Law is a law firm in The Hague founded by mr. Jeffrey Jordan.

It is an ambitious and fast-growing office with a general practice in which our lawyers and employees specialize in various areas of law, including criminal law, immigration law and family law.

Immigration or migration law in the Netherlands is complex and is increasingly governed by EU directives, treaties and international rules.

With regard to migration law, it is therefore important to get advice from an expert.

Personal and family law is a comprehensive area of law that in fact affects everyone. Think of birth, acknowledgment, custody, marriage and divorce.

The termination of your marriage, registered partnership or cohabitation entails many matters to arrange and is often a very drastic event. Civil law (also known as private law or civil law) concerns disputes between citizens, organizations and between citizens and organisations. These rights are largely described in the Civil Code.

Depending on the subject and/or the amount of the dispute, the case will be handled by the subdistrict court or the civil court. Civil proceedings can be initiated with a summons or with a petition.
