The firm has been established since the early 1970’s and the former Managing Partner, Stephen Rockliff, has been associated with the firm since then. Stephen Rockliff has had vast experience in most areas of law over the course of his legal career spanning more than 4 decades. Stephen Rockliff also has Specialist Accreditation from the Law Society of New South Wales in Business Law.
Rockliffs Lawyers has been instrumental in obtaining successful results for clients over the years in a diverse range of matters - from large Supreme Court actions such as acting for victims of the 1997 Thredbo landslide against the State of NSW, Roads and Traffic Authority (as it was then known), National Parks and Wildlife and Lend Lease, to smaller court actions such as recovery of small debts in the Local Court of NSW on behalf of individuals or companies, acting for individuals against one of the big 4 banks, acting for a franchisee against a franchisor, insurance claims, family law disputes involving allegations of the hiding of assets or domestic abuse, challenging wills and negotiating favourable contractual terms on a client’s behalf.
