HISTORY & MISSION
The ‘DCS - Advogados SP RL, former “Dulce Duque, Clara Conde, Sandra Jardim & Associates, Law Firm RL” is the formalization of a personal and professional relationship between founder partners, who share the same ethical and professional values. In 1996, Dulce Duque began the advocacy practice as freelanceer lawyer, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, with office in Funchal. Dulce Duque has dedicated to issues related to Civil, Criminal and Labor Laws. In 2000, Clara Conde, who previously practiced advocacy in Coimbra, joins to Dulce Duque, and dedicated, preferably, about Family and Inheritance Law, as well as on Juvenile rights, Criminal Law, Litigation and Contractual and extra-Contractual. Later, in 2005, Sandra Jardim Fernandes joins to DCS. With advocacy professional experience but also hotels management, where played the role of executive administrator in Hotel group. Two skills that complemented the lawful exercise of the Real Estate law and Commercial law for DCS.
The common experience of the practice of advocacy, and coordination of the different areas of intervention, allied with the identity of professional values and personal, have built a solid relationship, that culminated in the foundation of DCS in July 2006. Since then, DCS has been gaining importance in regional advocacy, and extended its field of action to emerging areas, responding to specific demands and increasingly complex legal dynamics. In 2008, the DCS responding to numerous requests, and decided to admit lawyers trainees under their sponsorship.
At the end of 2011, the founders of DCS invited Hugo Ricardo Barradas to be a partner, who started practicing advocacy as a trainee lawyer under his patronage, and ended the trainee joining the company as an associate lawyer. DCS is proud to be one of the first law firms based in Madeira. We base the exercise of advocacy with tenacity and independence, at the same time in a innovation and costumized solutions regulated by high technical and ethical standards .
