We rarely instruct Counsel and advise our clients’ fully on all aspects of the case, conduct interlocutory hearings and also trials where we are able to do so in the District Court. Our principal criminal work arises from our insurance clients’ instructions to defend traffic and Factories and Industrial Undertakings offences. We also act on behalf of public transport corporations as prosecuting lawyers on offences against their by-laws.

We also engage in more general criminal matters such as police station visits and defence of all criminal proceedings in the Magistrates’ Courts, District Court or High Court.
