Maggie Nguyo-Kariuki started this Nguyo Kariuki Advocates in 2016 after having been admitted to the Bar in 2005.
Whereas we do have the ‘brick and motar’ office located at Kengeleni Business Park in Mombasa, we are pretty much a virtual law firm. Like most law firms in Kenya, we practice all areas of law but tend to specialize more on Employment and Land Law litigation. So if you have been terminated from work unfairly, underpaid, not given leave or due allowances, we can help you with your case. You can see a case which we recently concluded in favour of the Claimant. This was a case involving a mjengo worker was unfairly terminated by a Chinese Construction Company. We got him an award of about Kes 110,000/-. His other colleagues also brought us their case and we managed to get them similar awards. If you are undertaking a developing project, its very easy to decide to ‘cut corners’ with the paper work. We advice and encourage clients to be patient and we assist in obtaining all the requisite documentation in the correct way.
