Landslág's roots go back to 1971. In 2010, Landslág and LM Lögmenn merged under the name Landslag. There are fifteen owners of Landslaga, but a total of 20 lawyers work there , of which 18 are licensed as lawyers and 12 of them have the right to argue before the Supreme Court.

There are currently 25 people working at Landslag.
