THE RIGHT TO WORK

We routinely handle labor law matters for both employees and employers. Labor law includes the interpretation of collective agreements, remuneration, dismissals and other matters concerning employment relationships.

COMPANY LAW

Our office assists both limited companies and sole proprietorships in corporate law issues. We assist entrepreneurs from starting a company and choosing a company form, as well as drafting a shareholders' agreement.

INSOLVENCY LAW

Simo Tuomaala has decades of experience in the duties of a receiver of a bankruptcy estate and in foreclosure matters. Tuomaala once started his working career as a young man in the service of the enforcement agency. The experiences as a bailiff and later as a trustee have given Tuomaala a unique insight into the field of insolvency law. Tuomaala can also act as liquidator in company restructuring.

In bankruptcies, we maximize the realizable value of the estate and treat creditors equally, so that the creditors reach the best possible outcome.. If necessary, we submit recovery claims and handle legal proceedings on behalf of the bankrupt estate.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND

LITIGATION

We assist companies in lawsuits, arbitration proceedings, negotiations and mediation situations. We always primarily try to resolve disputes through negotiations by finding a common will, which is concretized in the settlement agreement we draw up. However, a reasonable settlement requires at least two rational parties, which is not always the case. When all amicable means have been used, we assist companies in lawsuits and other dispute resolution methods. 

Only in court can you get 100% of what you want if you win your case. We enjoy our task of defending the client's interests in the courtroom and we work with the client towards a common goal, profit. At the beginning of the legal process, we give an estimate of the chances of the case being successful, the costs and the steps of the process, so that the customer can make a decision about starting the process based on as much information as possible. During the process, we update our estimates and keep the customer informed at every stage of the process. We will also find out if it is possible to get legal expenses reimbursed from legal protection insurance.
