If we don’t have the skills required for your particular matter, we won’t pretend we do and then bill you for time spent learning how. In that case, we will recommend a lawyer who we believe is the right person with the right level of experience for the job.

As you may have guessed, our firm’s name refers to Atticus Finch, the fictional lawyer in Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird.” He is widely regarded as a heroic, fair and principled lawyer. While we don’t claim to have achieved his lofty status, he does serve as a great role model.

We think you’ll agree that we charge a fair fee for our work. That’s because we care about what we do and who we do it for. We understand that you don’t want to pay Auckland lawyer rates, and why should you?
