Mitchell Keil is a boutique law firm located in Suva, Fiji that offers a variety of legal services including commercial and company law, a full range of intellectual property matters, employment law, foreign investment, banking, finance and security documentation, debt recovery, and creditors’ remedies, bankruptcy and insolvency, commercial litigation, admiralty and maritime law, due diligence, commercial and residential real estate conveyance, taxation law, estates, dispute resolution such as arbitration, and more.
Initially established in 1977, the firm’s current legal team includes Nilesh Prasad, Shiristi Kumar, and Preeti Verma representing decades of combined experience. They serve both private and corporate clients and represent a significant number of offshore clients.

Nilesh Prasad is a well rounded, creative, resourceful and experienced Principal with an outstanding academic track record. An excellent communicator (both written and spoken) who is able to engage with both a legal and business perspective effectively in building successful commercial relationships. A well organised individual able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure and with attention to detail whilst remaining calm and assured under the most challenging circumstances. Able to work efficiently as part of a team or independently with minimum supervision while still paying close attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport and respect quickly at all levels within the organisation including senior management teams and board members.
