As a state-run entity under the Department of Justice, it possesses legal personality, its own headquarters, separate accounts, and an official seal. The office is staffed by 26 professionals, including a Chief Notary, two Deputy Chiefs, eight notaries, five legal specialists, and additional support personnel, all dedicated to upholding the highest standards of legal service.

Located at 278 Nguyễn Văn Nghi Street, Ward 7, Gò Vấp District, Ho Chi Minh City, No.5 Notary Public offers a comprehensive range of services. These include certifying the legality and authenticity of contracts and transactions in civil, economic, commercial, and other social relations, as stipulated by the Law on Notarization of 2014. The office handles both mandatory notarizations required by law and voluntary requests from individuals and organizations, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to legal protocols.
