In 1990, attorney Peter Rütimann set up his own business and founded what was then called "Peter Rütimann Lawyers' Office". Our law firm has grown continuously over the past 30 years, and today we are known, rooted and well-established as the law firm "Rütimann Rechtsanwälte" in the house "Iminnen Lind" between the town hall and the district court in Winterthur.
We consciously describe ourselves as a classic general law firm, because we want to remain a law firm that you can turn to with all your legal questions at any time, regardless of your rank and name or the size of your wallet.
Despite our self-image as a general law firm, we have specialized in real estate and construction law. However, our legal specialization also relates to all areas of inheritance law and - as befits a general law firm - to divorce and family law. According to a survey by the magazine "Bilanz" in 2021, we are among the 25 most recommended law firms in Switzerland in all three areas of activity. Thanks to our law firm profile, we look after private individuals as well as commercial enterprises, companies or construction consortiums. Lawyer Peter Rütimann's many years of involvement in local politics and local government has meant that we also provide professional support to local governments.
