Whether as an employer or as an employee - we are happy to advise and represent you in all areas of private employment contract law and public employment law.

We support you in connection with the preparation of contracts, regulations and employment references, answer your questions about the rights and obligations of employees and employers and are available to you in all matters relating to the termination of employment relationships, such as abusive termination, release from work, termination at an inopportune time, etc.

Of course, we also represent your rights before courts and authorities and ensure the (extra)judicial enforcement of your claims arising from an employment relationship; be it in the form of wage claims, holiday compensation, overtime compensation or other claims.

Right of residence and settlement

Liechtenstein has a fairly strict right of residence and settlement. The requirements for issuing a permit vary depending on whether the person is an EEA national, a Swiss national or a third-country national. The requirements for any revocation or expiration of a residence permit also vary.

In this context, we will be happy to answer your questions, represent you before the relevant authorities when it comes to the granting or revocation of a right of residence, coordinate everything necessary with domestic and foreign authorities and also advise you in related areas such as labor law (work permit) or criminal law (revocation of permits).

Marriage and family law

Marriage and family law is as diverse as the individual families themselves. Problems and disputes between family members are often very stressful and emotional. Children in particular can suffer greatly from arguments between parents.

Our experienced lawyers are therefore committed to finding the most amicable solution possible, while safeguarding your interests, with which all parties agree - be it in the context of a separation or divorce, in maintenance issues, visitation and custody issues or other matters of marriage and family law.

Construction and real estate law

When it comes to building real estate, various clarifications are necessary in a wide range of areas. We are happy to advise and support you in drawing up the necessary contracts (purchase, exchange and donation contracts, building lease contracts, mutations, easements, etc.), in obtaining the relevant permits and in the clarifications and contract implementation at the land registry office and the land transfer authority.

Of course, we are also your competent contact in all matters relating to public building law (building regulations, approval and notification procedures, etc.).

Corporate law in general

We are happy to advise and support you in the establishment and administration of legal entities (associations, stock corporations, limited liability companies, institutions, foundations, etc.), partnerships (simple partnerships, general partnerships, limited partnerships), trusts and trust companies (trust reg.).

We will prepare the necessary documents for you (such as statutes, by-laws, trust deeds, etc.) and will also be happy to assist you in the management and administration of the company until its termination. In this regard, we can draw on years of experience and an extensive network of partners. Of course, we will also represent you in corporate law matters before courts and authorities.

Fundamental rights / human rights

Human rights or fundamental rights are rights that every individual is entitled to, regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, etc. They protect the individual from unjustified interference by the state.

Intellectual property law includes patent law (PatG), copyright law (URG), design law (DesG) and trademark law (MSchG). Intellectual property law primarily regulates issues such as the registration or extension of trademarks and designs as well as the exercise of copyright and related protective rights. We advise you on all matters relating to intellectual property law (in particular trademarks, designs, patents, utility models, works and image rights).

Debt collection, enforcement and bankruptcy law

We provide you with expert advice and representation in securing and collecting your claims or when claims are enforced against you. At your request, we will take over the enforcement of a claim from the first reminder through to legal enforcement and subsequent enforcement. If an enforceable title already exists - e.g. in the form of a legally binding payment order, judgment or legal opening order - we will support you in enforcing this title.

We are also happy to advise you on all aspects of bankruptcy law and can draw on the many years of expertise of attorney Pius Heeb as a former bankruptcy judge at the Princely Regional Court. We represent you in bankruptcy proceedings and in asserting your claims against the bankrupt and related claims (e.g. insolvency compensation). We also act in the official capacity of insolvency administrator.
