Sujata holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Professional Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of the South Pacific. She was admitted to the bar in the High Court of Fiji in 2014. With over 11 years of experience, Sujata has developed expertise in criminal, family, civil, and commercial law, successfully representing clients across a wide spectrum of legal issues.
Her professional journey includes significant roles at the Legal Aid Commission, where she gained extensive experience in handling family matters such as divorce, spousal/child maintenance, adoption, and matrimonial property disputes.
Sujata has also demonstrated proficiency in complex criminal cases during her tenure as a State Counsel at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions Office. Her responsibilities involved dealing with serious offenses including murder, manslaughter, sexual offenses, robbery, possession, and cultivation of illicit drugs, among others.
Moreover, she served as a Senior Civil & Commercial Litigation Counsel at Howards Lawyers, overseeing the litigation department and handling a diverse range of civil and commercial disputes. These included employment disputes, company matters, breach of contracts, torts, and medical negligence cases, before venturing into private practice.
Throughout her career, Sujata has represented individuals, private companies, and corporations in various courts, including the Magistrates' Court, High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court, across a broad spectrum of legal matters.

Nazia is a highly driven and ambitious legal professional with over 8 years of experience spanning civil and commercial law, cyber law, climate change and international law, as well as human rights law, policy development, and legal/legislative drafting.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Professional Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of the South Pacific, and she was admitted to the Fijian Bar in 2017.
Nazia's career includes 5 years of service with the Fijian Government at the Attorney-General’s Office, where she rose to the position of Senior Legal Officer before transitioning to private practice in 2022. She spent over a year as a Senior Commercial Lawyer at Howards Lawyers before establishing her own practice.
Her expertise lies in offering legal advice on corporate and employment matters, drafting various contracts, and demonstrating a solid record in civil advocacy, policy development, and project management. She has also excelled in policy-based loans and negotiations, debt management, and recovery. Nazia has handled a diverse litigation caseload across different Government ministries, departments, statutory bodies, individuals, and companies, appearing in all levels of civil courts in Fiji.
Additionally, Nazia has been accredited as a legal advisor to the Fijian Government at numerous international conferences, including the UNFCCC Conference of Parties, World Bank, and Asian Development Bank Annual Meetings. She has represented Fiji in various international negotiations, particularly in climate change and loan negotiations, as well as conferences.
