Willson & Pechacek, PLC was formed in January 1994. However, the attorneys of Willson & Pechacek have cared for clients since 1949. Indeed, the two founding members of Willson & Pechacek have over 100 years of combined practice of law.

The firm opened its doors at its current location in January 1994, with three attorneys and a staff of six people. Today, we have over 20 attorneys and staff. We have expanded our main office and have satellite offices in Treynor, Oakland, Carroll, Harlan, Clarinda, and Onawa, Iowa.

Successful outcomes begin with objective insight, and the full range of experience we bring to every client ensures a thorough understanding of the issues and a realistic vision of our mutual goals. At Willson & Pechacek, PLC, our goal is to provide a clear plan of action for every legal matter. We recognize it may be in your best interest to avoid a lawsuit and we work hard to keep you out of court. We will work with you to keep you informed of changes in the law which may affect your rights. We offer seminars, timely bulletins, an informational Internet web site, and one-on-one counseling to help you reduce potential exposure to lawsuits.

Despite every best effort, however, there are times when lawsuits and aggressive actions become necessary. Our attorneys will stand up for you and pursue success by balancing the need for aggressive representation with the required exercise of good judgment, common sense and objective advice.

Whatever the course of action, our clients can be assured that each case is handled with a results-oriented practical approach. This approach is the product of learning from the past, taking chances, and taking the lead while others simply follow.

Our lawyers practice in many areas of the law and take a team approach to clients' needs. We've learned to work smarter and to keep our clients' costs down. By creating the right balance, we provide our clients with the best of both worlds: a law firm large enough to provide representation in nearly every area of civil law, and a firm small enough to provide the cost effective personal service clients demand.

We've worked hard. We've listened. We've been innovative. We’ve become a respected leader in the legal community. Our position has come with the dedication and insight of a great team of law professionals, who have more than 100 years of combined experience and have built strong relationships with companies and individuals throughout the Midwest. Nationally renowned Martindale Hubbell gives our firm an AV rating which is the highest rating awarded to a law firm.

In addition to Martindale Hubbell's AV rating, all of our firm's partners are rated by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business. Super Lawyers explains its rating system thusly: "Super Lawyers . . . is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys."

Ours is a firm of experienced attorneys committed to providing clients with the highest level of representation and service.
