The right to a fair and speedy trial is one of the fundamental rights guaranteed in Article 35 of the Constitution of Bangladesh. Many trials of the criminal courts go against the accused/Defendant because of the improper cross-examination of the prosecution witnesses, lack of understanding of the complex legal and evidential issues. We recognise that a wrongful conviction or sentence can have a devastating impact on appellants and their families. Members of the Chambers advise and appear at all levels, from appeals against Magistrate's  Court to the Court of Sessions, to appearing in the High Court Division as well as the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh involving a range of offences from Murder, Rape to lesser offences of Dishonor of Cheques under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act. Chambers also do revision, quashment of proceedings under section 561A of the Code of Criminal procedure,  death reference etc.
