Our Managing Attorney, Atty. Narag (a CPA), started this firm in January 2015 after working in the corporate world for more than 20 years (SGV&Co., PriceWaterhouse Coopers,.AIG/AIA, etc). He has so far positively used his extensive experience as a financial & tax auditor, an operations & claims manager, and a compliance officer in servicing the firm’s wide array of clients.
We have well-trained paralegals and staff who can very well assist you. They were all college scholars. You can check out the list of our services elsewhere in this website. Aside from presently handling a couple of hundred cases in court and quasi-judicial bodies, we are the retained counsel of more than 20 companies.

Corporate Law / Retainer / Tax
We are retained as counsel of about 20 corporations, from small and medium enterprises to large ones. Atty. Narag’s experience in the corporate sector, both as a manager and as an auditor/CPA in SGV and PWC comes in handy in servicing our corporate clients. We have advised and represented clients, both corporate and individuals, on issues concerning starting a business, registration, dealing with employment policies, unions and other labor concerns, rendering advice on reducing the impact of taxation, insurance claims, customer complaints, drafting and review of contracts, claims for retirement benefits both from the government and private sectors.

Criminal Law
NARAG LAW OFFICE represents clients in all types of criminal cases. We assist them in the filing of cases, preliminary investigation, preparation of affidavits/memoranda, bail hearings, dispute resolution conferences, pre-trials and trials. We endeavor to resolve their cases efficiently. Among the cases we have handled (either as defense counsel or private prosecutor, whether living in the Philippines or abroad), involve Estafa, Falsification, Violation of RA’s 9262 (VAWC) and 7610 (Child Abuse), Cyberlibel/Slander, Usurpation of Real Rights, Murder, Parricide, Homicide, Carnapping, Tax Evasion, Theft, Qualified Theft, Unfair Labor Practice, Bank Secrecy, Wire-tapping, Illegal Possession of Firearms, R.A. 9165, Concubinage, Rape, Reckless Imprudence, Illegal Gambling, Anti-Graft, Human Trafficking and Illegal Recruitment. We have also appeared before quasi-judicial bodies like the DTI (e.g. Violation of the Lemon Law), OWWA (Illegal Recruitment), PRC (malpractice), etc.

Insurance / Maritime Claims
Many of our clients come from the insurance sector. This is understandable as Atty. Narag worked in the insurance industry for 17 years. We have represented insurance claims cases of seafarers before the National Conciliation and Mediation Board and the National Labor Relations Commission. This, after they have been repatriated and are entitled to benefits for accident, illness, injuries and death. We are also representing clients in guardianship proceedings before our Family Courts for their claims under the Insurance Code. Atty. Narag is a Fellow in Life Insurance and an Associate in Insurance Regulatory Compliance.

Labor / DOLE / NLRC
The extensive experience of Atty. Narag in the highly-unionized corporate environment as Auditor, Operations Head, Claims Manager and Compliance Fellow, has been very helpful in the office’s handling of cases involving labor and management. We have represented clients, some corporate and others from labor, with the NCMB, NLRC and the OWWA. Part of our experience has been assisting both employers and employees in their labor disputes. Some involved the review and drafting of employment contracts, preparation of termination letters and other Human Resources related communications. The office has handled cases involving disputes over contracts of employment, failure to provide minimum terms and conditions of employment, claims for back wages, overtime pay, retirement benefits, illegal dismissal and discrimination.

Our Law Office has had the opportunity to represent and service clients in several aspects of Family Law including Annulment of Marriage, Enforcement of Foreign Judgment (divorce decree), Custody, Petition for Habeas Corpus, Support, Adoption, Guardianship, Wills and Succession, Settlement of Estate, Correction of Entries in the Birth Certificates, Violation of RA 9262 (VAWC) and RA 7610 (child abuse law). We also provide advice concerning donor’s tax, income and estate tax for clients and their family businesses.
