Someone pawned a rental car and wants to surrender to police. What will happen to the person and what will the process look like?

If there is a complainant, he will be charged with estafa. If the case is in court already and there's a warrant of arrest, he needs to post bail. If no such case is in court yet but a complaint is filed with the Prosecutor's office, he needs to file a counter-affidavit. In any of these instances, he needs a lawyer ASAP.
