Amnesty International launched its annual "State of the World's Human Rights" report on April 28, 2025. Covering 2024 trends in 150 countries, it highlighted global rights erosion, citing spreading authoritarianism, undermining of international law, conflict violations, dissent repression, discrimination, injustice (economic/climate), and tech misuse, warning of potential worsening in 2025.
