5A Law Firm LLP is Ethiopia's premier full-service law firm, founded by five former judges — Ali Mohammed, Almaw Wolie, Alemu Korme, Amare Ashenafi, and Ashenafi Yirga — with 114+ years of combined judicial and legal experience across Ethiopia's federal and regional courts, including the Federal Supreme Court Cassation Bench.

Two founding partners served as Presiding Judges of the Federal Supreme Court Cassation Bench — Ethiopia's highest judicial authority for the binding interpretation of law. The remaining partners served as Federal High Court Judge, Regional Appellate Court Presiding Judge and President of the Court, and Federal Supreme Court Manager. Deputy Managing Partner Amare Ashenafi held the latter role, personally leading the reform and modernisation of case management across Ethiopia's entire federal court system — a position carrying the rank of Supreme Court Judge.
