Conceived and formally established by Ali Mohammed, Almaw Wolie, Alemu Korme, Amare Ashenafi & Ashenafi Yirga , 5A Law Firm LLP(“5A LAW”) is an aspiring full-service law firm in Ethiopia. With prominent lawyers and legal team that has over 25 years of experience in consulting and representing clients on wide range of legal issues concerning business and investment in the country 5A Law Firm LLP begun to make its early influence felt on the Ethiopian legal landscape. The firm is composed of professionals with years of administrative experience in the legal world with high responsibilities and duties, making it easier for the team to have a pull of resourceful colleagues who can easily navigate through the legal landscape of the Ethiopian legal system. The experienced legal experts working at 5A Law Firm LLP have also a wide range of experiences in relation to procedure and business process of criminal and civil benches the digital space and understanding the technological and IT developments in the area of law and technology.

The experience of legal experts working at 5A Law Firm LLP goes beyond shaping the Ethiopian legal terrain for many decades, as Partners of 5A Law Firm LLP have had the opportunity to participate in and closely follow up the institutional development of the Ethiopian judicial system. Two of the Partners at the firm have served as Supreme Court judges and closely followed up the institutional changes that took place in the Ethiopian Court systems. Moreover, Deputy Managing Partner of the firm, Mr Amare Ashenafi has served as the Court Manager of the Ethiopian Supreme Court in which he led the process of setting up all the court structures at the Federal Courts and closely followed up in reforming the case management and court management of the federal courts.
