General Advice
If you have a family law issue it is advisable to obtain legal advice before making a decision about what to do or before applying to the courts. A family lawyer can help you understand your legal rights and responsibilities and how the law applies to your case. In many cases a family lawyer may also be able to help you reach an agreement without the need to go to court at all.
Before formally engaging a family lawyer you may want to take advantage of a general advice session. This session usually goes for about half an hour and gives you a good opportunity to sit down with one of our family law solicitors to discuss your particular circumstance. At the end of this session you will have a clear picture of your rights and obligations, the processes involved and our fees.
At the end of this meeting you are under no obligation to continue with us, but you will be armed with the information you need to engage us if you wish.
We offer our general advice session at a low fixed fee of $110.00 (inc. GST) which is payable on the day of your appointment.
If you wish to make an appointment for a general advice session with Adelaide Family Law please call 08 8113 3111 or email [email protected].
