Our defense was simple: the child support should be reasonable, taking into account the financial circumstances of both parties.
However, the challenge we faced was significant: we were up against the biggest law office in town, and they had a reputation for being relentless in their pursuit of victory. But I was determined to help my client find a fair and reasonable solution, and so I focused on finding evidence to support our case.
The court heard our argument, and after careful consideration, the judge made a ruling in our favor. The ex-husband was required to pay a more reasonable amount of child support, one that he could afford without causing undue financial strain.

Instead, we argued that the developer was running a Ponzi scheme and that the contract was written in a way that bent the facts to make it appear legitimate.
