Long-stay visa (Visa D)
If you wish to stay in Belgium for more than 3 months, you will need a D visa or national long-stay visa. We can help you submit an application specific to your situation:
- Family reunification
- Visa for marriage or legal cohabitation in Belgium
- Stay as a student or researcher
- Stay for humanitarian or medical reasons
- Work-related stay (single permit for salaried workers or professional card for self-employed foreign workers).
- Annuitant visa, which allows the applicant to stay in Belgium for one year (renewable), on the basis of a discretionary decision by the "Office des Étrangers", if the applicant can demonstrate strong emotional ties with Belgium and sufficient passive income.
