Founded in 2013, CERNO is a Luxembourg-based law firm specialised in immigration, advisory and litigation.
All of CERNO's team share the same goals: to accurately identify our clients' needs, to discover and understand each person's situation without judgment, and to provide realistic solutions to each person.
We draw on the talents of our entire team, which has training and experience in complementary fields, in order to provide our clients with adapted and transversal legal solutions.
We are committed to promoting mediation and negotiation when conflicts lend themselves to it. In this perspective, we will encourage and accompany our clients towards the paths that are most conducive to a rapid resolution of their dispute.
Our commitment is total, both to our clients and our employees, to whom we guarantee a respectful, serene and inclusive work environment.
Practice areas
Immigration
Since 2009, CERNO's lawyers have been assisting applicants for international protection and foreigners who wish to settle permanently in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. With a perfect command of immigration and asylum procedures, we provide effective assistance in french, english, german, spanish and arabic to associations, asylum seekers and immigrants in all their procedures.
We also advise companies on the use of foreign labour.
Business
With a decade of experience in corporate law and commercial litigation, CERNO's lawyers provide entrepreneurs and company directors with the skills to help them make key decisions. We also remain by your side, whether in the resolution of conflicts or in legal representation before administrative, civil or commercial authorities.
Bankruptcy & Debt
In keeping with our belief that people should be at the heart of any business, we assist companies that choose to go through the complexities of restructuring or closing the company. We help them navigate the complex legal procedures that need to be followed, while helping to ensure that the different populations of the company are listened to and reassured.
Employment & Labor
Faithful to our belief that the human being must be at the heart of the employment relationship, because it is there that the wealth of a company resides, we assist entrepreneurs, human resources managers, associations and staff representatives in order to make the best use of the company's human capital.
Family
The family, as a social community, is not immune to the upheavals, internal crises and even the desire to reinvent itself of its members. Our aim is to accompany each member of the family in the ruptures and challenges he/she must face.
