Since 2015, we have provided exceptional, client-focused legal advice and support that is affordable for both individuals and businesses. We are renowned worldwide for our attention to detail and our exceptionally high standards, regardless of the nature or value of the case.

Our Offices

Our Manchester city centre office is situated at 53 King Street. King Street is considered one of the most important thoroughfares of Manchester City Centre. The building is of historical value as it is an Edwardian Baroque Grade II listed building. It was designed by architect Charles Heathcote and opened in 1913, and it was granted Grade II listed building status in 1974. Our offices stand on the site of the old Manchester Town Hall.

In 2021, CKE Law will be expanding and opening an office in Temple, London. Temple, is the main legal districts in London and a notable centre for English Law, both historically and in the present day. It consists of the Inner Temple and the Middle Temple, which are two of the four Inns of Court. The Royal Courts of Justice are just to the north and Temple tube station is located to the west in the City of Westminster.

Manchester and London are recognised across the world as a leading centres for professional and legal services. Our commitment to these cities is as strong today as it has ever been.

In these uncertain economic times it is critical that collection of your outstanding debts is managed efficiently to assist your cashflow. Maintaining cash flow is an imperative part of running a successful business. CKE Law understands that recovering a debt owed to you quickly and efficiently is vital to the effective management and operation of your business.

Unlike debt collection agencies, who provide a short-term service, we offer a lifelong commercial connection to your business. We offer a personal approach and pride ourselves on getting to know your business so we can provide a service tailored to suit your needs view to achieving a recovery in the most cost-effective manner. If a case becomes defended, our experienced litigators will review the defence carefully, consider your prospects of success and discuss the options available to you including other procedures such as mediation which can be more cost effective than having the outcome of a case decided by the Court at a final hearing. If we consider it is in your interest not to proceed, we will tell you as early as possible and explain why.

Whether the debt is disputed or not, we will recommend the appropriate procedure to enable you to recover funds as quickly as possible at a sensible cost. It is often the case that the longer a debt is left unpaid, the less likely it is to be collected.

We will take the stress away and guide you through the entire process offering practical and commercially focused advice.

Intellectual Property

Intellectual Property

Brand, reputation and intellectual property (IP) affect every business.

We can help you to protect and capitalise on your brands, trademarks, creativity, ideas, know-how and inventions, ensuring that others do not benefit from your intellectual property. The improved procedures we put in place will help you generate the revenue you deserve, and the tools we provide will enable you to continue this process long after you have used our services.

Copyright protection in most areas is covered by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and lasts for the life of the author, plus 70 years from the end of the calendar year of his death.

Many underestimate the importance of protecting a company’s corporate identity and intellectual property rights, but in a society where identity theft is becoming more prevalent than ever, the commercial world is also at risk.

Copyright infringement occurs if the work is copied, performed, shown or played in public or communicated to the public or copies are issued to the public, without the consent of the copyright owner.

No matter what kind of business you are, we will invest the time and effort to understand what matters to you and your business. We will keep talking through and reviewing your objectives as your situation changes. You will always have an up-to-date strategy that matches your needs, so you can rest assured that you have the right people behind you.

Intellectual property issues can take up a lot of time, money, and energy. The role of our IP lawyers is to manage those issues for you, so that you can focus on what is important to you.

Personal Injury

Our specialist personal injury lawyers are here to make things easier for you and your family. Every year we help thousands of people claim for personal injury, and over the past two years we’ve helped our clients recover more than £1 billion in compensation.

Compensation is only part of the story though, and our solicitors could also help you access the rehabilitation, medical care and support you need to make the best recovery possible.

“Personal injury” is the legal term for an injury or illness that has been caused (or made worse) by someone else’s negligence. If you’ve suffered in these circumstances you may be able to make a personal injury claim to recover compensation from those responsible.

You normally have three years to start your personal injury claim.

This time limit is usually from the date of your accident. However, in some cases it can be from the date you became aware your injury was due to negligence (in the case of a workplace illness for instance).

Most of the claims we handle are on a no win no fee basis.

Our solicitors provide straightforward, practical legal advice to ensure the right decisions are made for you and your family. We can help with:

  • Serious Injury Compensation
  • Road Traffic Acciden
  • Holiday Accidents & Illness
  • Accident At Work
  • Military Injury Compensation
