An Arbitration proceeding was initiated by the Bank against our Client over non- payment of the loan amount. We successfully defended the same, and questioned the very process of appointment of the Ld. Arbitrator, citing the law laid day by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Perkins Eastman (2019) judgement over unilateral appointments. The Ld. Arbitrator agreed with our submission and rejected the proceedings.
