Derbyshire Law Centre

Derbyshire Law Centre is a not-for-profit community legal practice serving Derbyshire with a focus on social welfare law. It provides free and low-cost legal services to individuals and families on low incomes, supported by a team of solicitors, legal executives and advisers to help them access justice.

The centre has grown from four workers at inception to over 30 staff and volunteers across five Derbyshire offices, reflecting its reputation for accessible, client-centred service and its Lexcel quality mark.

With a commitment to clear communication and practical outcomes, the firm emphasises client support such as accessible hours, telephone advice and British Sign Language options to ensure responsive help for clients across Derbyshire.
