Jochen Simon Brandt is a seasoned German attorney with over a decade of legal experience, known for his strategic thinking, client-focused approach, and international legal insight. As a co-founder of Divortis UG, Jochen plays a key role in guiding clients through complex family law and civil law matters, both locally and internationally.
A graduate of the University of Cologne, Jochen further advanced his legal training at the prestigious German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. His early legal career took him abroad, where he worked with a major Swedish law firm in Moscow, gaining valuable exposure to cross-border legal processes and international client relations.
After being admitted to the German Bar in 2010, Jochen led a team in an insolvency administration firm, gaining hands-on experience in insolvency, contract law, and real estate. In 2014, he founded his own practice, laying the foundation for what would later become Divortis—an innovative family law firm serving both German nationals and expats navigating legal challenges in Germany.
Jochen is an active member of the Cologne Bar Association and the German Bar Association, and is committed to providing accessible, multilingual legal services tailored to the needs of international clients.
