The firm was established in 1948 by HJ Stander and was originally known as HJ Stander and Partners, but has since changed its name to Engelsman Magabane Incorporated. The firm incorporated the practices of Roelof Greeff Attorneys during 1997, Coetzee & Associates during 1998 and Jooste Attorneys during 2013. Sadly, the firm mourned the passing of Mr. Magabane during March 2010 and Mr. Van Niekerk in December 2012.
There are presently 6 directors, 1 professional assistants, 2 consultants, 2 candidate attorneys and a large secretarial, administrative and support staff. Qualified personnel and dynamic leadership are the foundation for the success of Engelsman Magabane Inc. With 6 directors, the firm is one of the largest in Kimberley and the Northern Cape Province. This leads to better service delivery across a wide spectrum of legal services.
