The Faculty of Law at Minia University offers structured undergraduate and postgraduate legal education within the public university framework of Minia. The faculty delivers coursework across core legal disciplines, supports supervised research and publishes an academic law journal to disseminate faculty and student scholarship.

The faculty was established by Prime Ministerial decision in 2015 and has since built teaching, postgraduate and quality-assurance units to support legal instruction and research. Institutional activities include curriculum delivery under a credit-hours system, postgraduate supervision and internal units addressing student welfare and academic standards.

The faculty provides advisory and training services to local institutions and the broader community through targeted legal expertise, workshops and capacity-building activities. Emphasis is placed on practical legal skills, courtroom procedure training and scholarly work that informs regional legal practice and policy discussions.
