The firm is recognised as a leading Australian commercial and migration law practice with clients throughout the world. It has particular expertise in Asia with several lawyers admitted to practice in countries within that region.

The firm comprises of staff with experience and expertise in a variety of facets of the law including:

• Two Adjunct Professors and one Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at Victoria University.
• Three Law Institute Accredited Specialists in Migration Law
• The current Chair of the Advisory Committee to the Specialist Board of the Law Institute of Victoria in Migration Law
• The Former Head of the Refugee Review Tribunal and Senior Magistrate
• Lawyers admitted in other foreign jurisdictions
• Access to US Legal expertise by way of a joint venture with an eminent US migration law firm
• Several lawyers admitted to practice in jurisdictions in Asia
• Multi-lingual staff fluent in Chinese Language including Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien; Filipino, Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Malaysian.
